Yoga Class Descriptions

All the yoga classes taught are Anusara-Inspired. Detailed verbal cues, hands-on adjustments, and demonstrations of poses with detailed explanations will be given. Each class will be infused with a heart-oriented theme, woven into the asana practice giving more potency and meaning to each pose and into the communal fabric of the entire class.
LEVEL 1/2
This class level is perfect for new students of yoga as well as those new to Anusara Yoga. Emphasis will be on creating awareness of alignment and developing strength and flexibility in a variety of poses. This class is intended to empower both beginners and those with some experience of yoga while introducing some basic yoga philosophy.
LEVEL 2/3
Expect a playful, more dynamic and engaging class. This class is meant to empower and inspire all practitioners of yoga to move to the next level of practice. Inversions, arm-balances, deeper back bends and seated poses will be taught. Demonstrations and modifications are given for all levels of students. Come with and open mind and heart to play, explore and try something new!
ALL LEVELS
This class is open to all levels of experience in yoga. We will explore a dynamic practice welcoming students of all levels from experienced beginner to advanced practitioner. Handstands, backbends and more challenging poses may be taught. Demonstrations and modifications are given for all levels of students.
