Heart-Centered Hatha

Daniella’s teachings embody a Heart-Centered approach to Hatha Yoga artfully blending detailed alignment cues with inspiring themes, making the practice a beautiful and delightful synergy of precision and grace.

“Heart-Centered Hatha” blends keen alignment with an emphasis on the unfolding and opening of the body from the heart. The class is infused with a theme woven into the practice that gives more potency and meaning to each pose, the communal fabric of the group and why we practice.

Detailed verbal cues of how to align,  hands-on adjustments, and demonstrations of poses with explanations are given. It includes and yet goes beyond the physical practice bringing spirituality, breath awareness, and some chanting.

Daniella’s teachings are highly influenced by the education that she received from her 6 years with Anusara Yoga which has given her incredible tools for helping herself as well as her students make healing and long lasting changes in their bodies and lives.

She is a certified  E-RYT 500- RYT 500 yoga instructor with over 6000 hours of teaching experience.

 Her intention is to empower each student to awaken and recognize their Heart as their ultimate teacher. Through the practice of heart-centered hatha yoga, uncover their individual gifts and inherent talents and use them to serve life/humanity/our planet fully.

LEVEL 1/2

This class level is perfect for new students of yoga. Emphasis will be on creating awareness of alignment and developing strength and flexibility in a variety of poses. This class is intended to empower both beginners and those with some experience of yoga while introducing some basic yoga philosophy.

LEVEL 2/3

Expect a playful, more dynamic and engaging class. This class is meant to empower and inspire all practitioners of yoga to move to the next level of practice. Inversions, arm-balances, deeper back bends and seated poses will be taught. Demonstrations and modifications are given for all levels of students. Come with and open mind and heart to play, explore and try something new!

ALL LEVELS

This class is open to all levels of experience in yoga. We will explore a dynamic practice welcoming students of all levels from experienced beginner to advanced practitioner. Handstands, backbends and more challenging poses may be taught. Demonstrations and modifications are given for all levels of students.
