Our bodies are our temples. The essential function of a temple is to provide communion, feed the soul and awaken the spirit. A temple is also, in and of itself, a work of art with a long history of development. A place to examine our internal pieces of art, marvel at their intricacy and beauty and examine their meanings in our lives, and come to understand more fully how they link together to create and sustain the miracles we live out every day–breath, pulse, movement, feeling, consciousness, and our relationship with nature at large.” ~Deane Juhan

Daniella began walking the path of yoga with devotion in 2001. Her first foundational teacher training was in the 8 DaniellaLimbs Ashtanga tradition taught by Baba Hari Dass at the Mount Madonna Center in Northern California in 2003. While traveling and teaching in Thailand, Bali and India she continued on exploring Hatha Yoga and Iyengar yoga, while developing her own style incorporating focus on the opening of the heart. It was after her 1st Anusara yoga class in 2006 that she knew she had found her yoga family and the style with which she truly felt a deep connection. Since then, she has completed 3 Anusara Immersion Trainings and a teacher training in the Anusara yoga tradition with Sianna Sherman and Noah Maze in Berkeley, California. She continues to study directly under Anusara’s founder John Friend, as well as with Ken Graham, Douglas Brooks, Sianna Sherman, Noah Maze, Desiree Rumbaugh and Darren Rhodes. Her studies of Tantric Philosophy are strongly influenced by Douglas Brooks, Chris (Hareesh) Wallis, and Sally Kempton.  With great joy and honor, she became an Anusara-Inspired Yoga Instructor in the early Winter of 2009. She brings precision, playfulness, celebration, exploration and yoga therapeutics into every class honoring each individual’s innate goodness, beauty and authentic expression.

“Daniella is a pure joy to be around. It has been an honor to hold space by her side in a professional setting. As a facilitator and class instructor, it is delightful to witness the way she coaches her students with such grace and a keen eye for alignment. As a friend I always feel immediately lifted up because of her bright loving energy. She lights up the room! Daniella is inspiring to learn from, because there are few teachers who actually “live the practice”. It’s evident in her teaching style.”
